St Albans – Following the release of the latest – and most comprehensive – version of the Zünd Cut Center (ZCC) software suite, Zünd UK Ltd will be hosting demonstrations of its new features this spring.

As part of Zünd UK Ltd's presentation at Packaging Innovations 2018 in Birmingham on February 28th and March 1st 2018 (Stand H19), ZCC Version 3.0 will prove its mettle for the packaging industry. Its newly refined algorithms control the Zünd ICC camera to ensure that it only captures register marks that are crucial for determining position, skew and distortion – resulting in incredibly accurate cutting processes, a boost to productivity and significant time savings.

At Packaging Innovations, the ZCC suite will be installed on a Zünd G3 L3200 digital cutting table configured for packaging sample-making and production applications, using corrugated, carton, boxboard and polypropylene materials.

However, the new software is also compatible with a vast range of materials for a wealth of different applications. At Zünd UK Ltd's recently renovated showroom in St Albans, ZCC is already being put to work on demonstrations for specialist businesses ranging from sign-makers to leather goods manufacturers – with more industry events planned for spring 2018.  

The versatility of ZCC lies in its ease of use: the latest version features the browser-based Dashboard function, which visualises performance and productivity statistics from Zünd cutting tables to enable staff to monitor production in real time, remotely. This is in addition to Zünd's proven Cut Queue feature – a tool palette to make production planning and job management simple. By optimising cut data, this automatically creates the fastest and most material-efficient cutting path for each job.

Zünd UK Ltd customers are already experiencing the benefits of the latest ZCC software following its release in December 2017, with many more receiving their upgrade soon.
