Peereboom Named President of C&P Microsystems

Press release from the issuing company

West Caldwell, N.J. – Richard Peereboom has been promoted to President of C&P Microsystems, a division of Colter & Peterson and North America’s largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment.

Peereboom joined C&P in 2009 as Sales Manager for Latin America. In 2015, he added responsibilities that included managing domestic sales in the southeastern United States, specifically Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. He replaces Jeff Marr, who is reducing his work schedule but will remain as CFO of Colter & Peterson.

“I’ve known Richard for 10 years. He’s a fantastic guy and a very capable leader,” said Bruce Peterson, President of C&P. “He’s done a great job over the years and has been instrumental in the success of the Microcut® brand line. We’ve been able to expand sales and the product line of Microcut retrofit systems, especially in Central and South America. Richard has played a big role in doing that and I know he has more plans to implement in the future.”

“Becoming President of C&P Microsystems is an honor and a great opportunity,” remarked Peereboom, who is based in North Carolina. “Since joining C&P, I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and our Microcut retrofit systems have increased in popularity. We not only have a program for every size print operation, but for other industries that cut different types of substrates besides paper. I’m looking forward to the challenge of developing and introducing new products to the marketplace.”

One of the newest products is the Microcut PLUS Cutter Control system, a next generation control package. Microcut retrofits are designed to work with nearly any brand and a major reason why the company is the industry leader with almost 35,000 installations worldwide.
