June 26, 2002 -- IPA is offering a series of Web-based training programs as part of its new IPA University initiative. Numerous "Webinars" are under development covering a wide spectrum of industry-critical technical and management issues. The newest curriculum, "PDF/X-1a:2001 Revealed", walks participants through the process of creating and sharing PDF/X1a:2001 files. This seminar was developed in cooperation with Time Warner, Inc. to assist in the education of Time Warner vendors in the preparation of PDF/X-1a files. Additional Webinars addressing PDF/X Plus and PDF/X 3 are also available and will be offered throughout the summer. These inexpensive ($80 – $100 per 90-minute) programs require no travel cost and offer tremendous time efficiencies. These and future Webinar programs have evolved from listening to the needs of our membership and the graphic communication industry as a whole.
