Press release from the issuing company

WASHINGTON – American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman issued the following statement as the Senate Finance Committee unveiled its framework for comprehensive tax reform:

“American jobs, paychecks and a higher standard of living for our workers are on the line, and there is no time to waste when it comes to enacting new tax policies focused on economic growth. We are one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the nation with ability to grow, create jobs and compete with a supportive tax framework in place. As the Senate Finance Committee begins its work, we look forward to the day the U.S. has a globally competitive corporate system and opportunities for investments to expand manufacturing for generations to come.”
