Press release from the issuing company
Brummen, Netherlands - Ink logistics solutions provider GSE enjoyed a successful Labelexpo Europe 2017, with seven dispensing and proofing system sales to label and packaging converters, and excitement for the company’s Ink manager software, debuting at the show.
Sales of GSE’s Colorsat® range of dispensers for mixing ink on demand and reusing press returns in new recipes include three Match systems and two Switch systems to major label converters in the UK, India and Ireland. A Colorsat Slim dispenser was sold to a Netherlands-based paper and board converter. Additionally, an Evolution Series tabletop proofer was sold to India.
Demonstrations of the new GSE Ink manager software were received with enthusiasm from label and packaging converters as well as leading ink manufacturers. Designed to eliminate ink-related waste and assure quality in the package printing supply chain, the software was particularly well received for its remote connectivity and advanced reporting features allowing traceability and real-time stock information. GSE Ink manager will be launched in the new year.
Maarten Hummelen, marketing director GSE, comments: “At GSE, we have extended our focus beyond equipment alone, to provide life-time support programmes for eliminating ink-related waste. The sales and interest we have received at Labelexpo is a clear sign the market recognises the importance of turn-key ink logistics solutions and more sophisticated software in response to shorter production runs and tighter quality controls in packaging and labelling.”
