The RMGT 9 Series Offset Press drew crowds at the annual trade show.

SOLON, OH - Graphic Systems North America (GSNA), the exclusive authorized sales and service centers for RMGT presses in the United States and Canada, recently exhibited at the PRINT 17 trade show in Chicago to resounding success. Leading up to the show, RMGT publicized that the RMGT 9 Series press was the dominant 8-up press (36”/37”) in North America. By the end of PRINT 17, RMGT reports 23 presses being sold in 2017 alone, while achieving the milestone of selling the 50^th 9 Series offset press in North America.

RMGT was one of more than 450 exhibitors at a show that drew more than 20,000 people through the doors.   In the RMGT, Commit to Print booth, visitors saw the only offset press running live at the show.  Again the RMGT 9 Series Press continued to fill the booth and isle ways with spectators hungry to learn more about offset and LED UV advancement.  RMGT was one of a series of booths running live jobs in tandem—CRON ECRM was creating the plates for the RMGT 9 Series 8-color Perfecting Press with LED-UV and Coater, and because of the instant-dry capabilities of the press, the sheets were taken directly to the Horizon booth, where they were finished and distributed helping show real life application processes.

We are exciting to work with many more printers in the coming months, as a direct result of PRINT 17.”

In addition, RMGT won a coveted MUSTSEEEMS’ award for the RMGT 920PF-8+CC+LED-UV 8 Color with Coater Perfecting Press in the Pressroom: Analog Presses category. In point of fact, RMGT took home the Best of Category honor for the press. “Winning the MUSTSEEEMS’ for the RMGT 920PF-8+CC+LED-UV 8 Color with Coater Perfecting Press is a huge honor,” said Hemmen. “We could not be more proud of this press. Our customers can’t stop talking about how much it is helping to grow their businesses and their bottom lines — this award just goes to show that the industry at large is recognizing the difference our presses can make.”
