MELVILLE, N.Y. - Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that its Large Format Solutions division has collaborated with Contex, one of the world’s largest developers and producers of large format imaging solutions, to offer industry-leading Contex IQ Quattro scanners. The Quattro scanners can be used stand-alone or paired with most Canon large format printers, including the Océ PlotWave Series or Océ ColorWave printers.
The announcement comes as Canon Solutions America’s Large Format Solutions division continues to broaden its offerings with leading-edge products designed to meet the needs of its vast and dynamic range of customers. In its latest move, the division further solidifies its place at the forefront of the large format print industry by working closely with another renowned industry leader. Contex technology not only offers a cost-efficient solution, but also works well as a front-end to high production printers, creating high-speed copy solutions in both color and monochrome. IQ Quattro 4400 scanners are now available through csa.canon.com.

Additionally, with Contex CleanScan CIS modules, superfast Ethernet, and award-winning Nextimage software, Contex IQ Quattro further positions itself as a forward-thinking industry leader and provider of robust scanning capabilities. End users will also be able to leverage the scanners’ ability to work with various applications, including maps, technical drawings, large documents, and posters, among others, helping them achieve enhancements in speed and quality.
