Press release from the issuing company
St Albans - Zünd UK Ltd has closed another edition of Packaging Innovations, having showcased its groundbreaking Zünd S3 M1600 digital cutting table to delegates from across the packaging industry.
Reported by its organisers as its 'most successful show to date', Packaging Innovations 2017 and sister event Luxury Packaging 2017 took place at London's Olympia on September 13th and 14th 2017. The shows featured demonstrations of systems including the Zünd S3 M1600, plus networking opportunities, seminars, advice and an awards ceremony honouring the sector's best ideas and developments.
The Zünd UK Ltd team – based in St Albans – welcomed visitors from across the sector to its stand where it demonstrated the Zünd S3 and explained its capabilities for sample-making and short-run packaging production.
"Once again, Packaging Innovations was a successful show for Zünd and offered an insight into the developments of an exciting market – Peter Jones from Dragons' Den was even spotted at the event," comments Stuart Cole, Managing Director, Zünd Plotting Systems (UK) Ltd.
"The Zünd S3 has found a place in packaging businesses across the world thanks to its fast, accurate capabilities, enabling the production of some amazing designs."
As a modular system, the Swiss-made Zünd S3 on show was configured for use with carton and corrugated materials – fitted with a selection of complementary tools, software and modules designed to increase the speed, accuracy, cost efficiency and quality of packaging designs.
Just one of several options in the Zünd S3 cutting table range, the Zünd S3 M1600 is a medium-sized system with an energy-efficient vacuum system to hold down material for accurate cutting, advanced automation abilities and numerous safety features. It can process a wide range of substrates including wood, textiles, composite materials, leather, signage substrates and more, enabling packaging businesses to explore potential diversification channels.
Packaging Innovations is expected to return to London and Birmingham in 2018.
