Bristol, UK - Drytac, an international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the print, label and industrial markets, has announced its plans for the upcoming SGIA Expo, scheduled to take place at the Ernest N Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. (October 10-12, 2017). 

The SGIA Expo brings together leading professionals from every sector of the imaging industry. Tens of thousands of attendees are expected to explore the exhibitor booths and meet with colleagues, distributors, customers and potential clients throughout the 3-day event. At the event, Drytac will showcase a broad range of its ‘easy to apply, easy to remove’ printable films on booth 3325 and – in particular – will be highlighting its SpotOn®, ReTac® and ViziPrint® ranges.

SpotOn

SpotOn is a printable PVC film with a unique dot-patterned removable adhesive. Virtually undetectable, the dot-patterned adhesive ensures graphics can be installed with minimal effort, remain in place for the duration of the application, and can be removed with ease. The film’s adhesive allows for easy, bubble-free application of vibrant, high quality graphics to a wide range of substrates without the need for tools or wet installation. Available in clear matte frosted and white matte finishes, SpotOn is commonly used for window graphics but can also be used for short-term indoor applications such as wall graphics, trade show graphics or retail graphics that require seasonal change out.

Making its US premiere at SGIA 2017 is SpotOn SynPaper for PageWide® XL. This 4.8 mil (120µ) printable matte white, self-adhesive PP film with a dot patterned, removable pressure sensitive polyacrylate adhesive has been specifically developed for printing with HP PageWide, but other aqueous and UV inkjet technologies also provide excellent results.

ReTac

Drytac will also be showcasing its ReTac range at SGIA Expo, incorporating an array of printable films with ReTac ultra removable adhesive on the back for the easy installation, repositioning and removal of temporary graphics. 

ReTac Smooth is a printable matte white PVC film with ReTac ultra removable adhesive. Thanks to its adhesive, ReTac Smooth ensures graphics can be easily installed, removed and re-positioned on any smooth surface. It is compatible with (eco) solvent, UV and latex printers and is perfect for interior wall graphic applications.

Building on this range, ReTac Textures is a printable, textured, matte white polymeric PVC film currently available in three embossed finishes – Canvas, Linen and Sand. The films add depth and visual appeal to static, flat graphics and are ideal for custom wall murals, interior décor, retail displays, trade show graphics, textured labels and more.

ReTac ChalkMate™ is a pressure sensitive black PVC film, with a chalkboard finish and permanent or removable adhesive options. It can be applied to a variety of surfaces and is perfect for specialty applications such as chalkboard displays, restaurant menus, teaching applications and wall areas where drawings are encouraged. 

ViziPrint

Finally, Drytac will also be highlighting its ViziPrint range of printable clear PET films with a unique removable adhesive that can be easily applied to glass, acrylic and other non-porous surfaces.

ViziPrint Illuminate is a high quality, translucent PET film with proprietary adhesion technology for trouble-free installation of graphics on glass and other smooth, flat surfaces. It is easy to apply and leaves no adhesive residue behind during graphic removal. The semi-matte film is very durable and does not require overlamination for graphics. Its bright white base color and ability to diffuse light creates brighter, more vivid backlit images that have a wider color gamut. ViziPrint Illuminate is also reverse printable, allowing for indoor and outdoor visibility of window graphics. It is ideal for window advertisements viewed during the day in direct sunlight or illuminated at night by store lighting. It can also be used for privacy and decorative glass applications as well as backlit displays.

ViziPrint Impress is an optically clear, printable PET window film with proprietary adhesion technology, designed for trouble-free installation of graphics onto glass surfaces. Unlike static cling, it does not bubble and is unaffected by moisture, making it ideal for window decals, advertising, signage, and décor applications.
