Press release from the issuing company

MELVILLE, N.Y., - Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that longtime customer and industry leader, Print-O-Stat, has added to its robust print fleet after installing both a Canon imagePRESS C10000VP Color Digital Press and a Canon imagePRESS C750 Color Sheetfed Digital Press. The acquisitions further cement the Pennsylvania-based print provider as a leading provider of products and services for a variety of industries across the Mid-Atlantic Region.

For more than 60 years, Print-O-Stat has sustained a reputation of providing best-in-class products and services for a vast range of businesses, including architecture, engineering, manufacturing, design, and many others, both large and small. Headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, the lauded print services provider has an impressive footprint that spans 11 locations, making it one of the most recognized and reputable industry brands in its region. From humble beginnings as solely an engineering supply and printing company, Print-O-Stat has grown exponentially over the years, perhaps best represented by its multi-divisional organization made up of: Printing and Archiving Services, Wide Format Machine Sales and Service, Geospatial Solutions, and Software Solutions.

One pivotal element of Print-O-Stat's business that continues to serve as a differentiator is its commitment to supporting its customers as an extension of their operations. Bridging the gap between people and technology, Print-O-Stat understands the value of staying ahead of the curve from both an equipment and personnel standpoint. Whether that be through embracing new and emerging technologies or creating a tight-knit, familial working environment, the Pennsylvania print leader strives to open the door to new business opportunities for its dynamic range of clients. With its most recent acquisition of two Canon color digital imagePRESS printers, Print-O-Stat once again proved to both its internal staff and customers alike that they are ready to adopt new print technologies and expand an already impressive portfolio of services and solutions.

"We are always working to expand our capabilities and provide existing and new customers with the best possible option for their business needs," said John Horn, vice president of Marketing at Print-O-Stat.  "There is no doubt that the Canon imagePRESS C10000 VP and the imagePRESS C750 will help us achieve that goal."

Built on years of a strong relationship, Canon Solutions America and Print-O-Stat exemplify the kind of mutually beneficial business collaboration that can exist within the always-evolving print industry. For over 10 years, Print-O-Stat has not only collaborated with Canon Solutions America but Canon U.S.A. as well, serving as a Canon imagePROGRAF dealer and a valued customer that's helped push product development and product enhancements for both Canon companies.

"Part of that valued relationship is based on both companies taking advantage of the expertise and experience we have, and using it as a vehicle to spur growth and collaboration at a time when the print industry is seemingly reinventing itself," said Peter Kowalczuk, executive vice president and general manager of Sales and Zone Operations for Canon Solutions America's Enterprise Services and Solutions division. "To stay at the forefront of this industry like both companies have, you must be willing to adapt and embrace the changes, and Print-O-Stat does that as good as any other company in the industry. It's a privilege to continue to grow alongside our valued customer."

Combining proven imagePRESS features and new print technologies, the Canon imagePRESS C10000VP/C8000VP Color Digital Press has been engineered to deliver production printing excellence for the business advantage of its users. It can help commercial printers, in-plants, production hubs, direct mail, and transaction print service providers to produce a broader range of applications in shorter turnaround times – a critical feature that pushed Print-O-Stat to point of purchase. Similarly, the imagePRESS C850/C750 digital color production presses offer end-users outstanding quality, productivity, and versatility in a compact, scalable footprint. Designed for small-to-medium commercial, franchise, in-plant, transactional and quick printers, the imagePRESS C850/C750 Series is equipped to handle a variety of media options, which Print-O-Stat has already taken advantage of since installation, specifically envelope production.

Once more proving the synergy between the two print leaders is the commitment both share to becoming more environmentally friendly. As proven through these installations, Print-O-Stat continues to move away from offset printing and towards digital output, supporting its mission of promoting more sustainable print practices throughout its different locations.
