Press release from the issuing company
Cleveland, OH - Cleveland-based prepress leader Bob Weber Inc. (BWI) will unveil its highly anticipated Paragon Plate Line alongside the recently launched BWI 400-800 Series CTP with live demonstrations at the upcoming Print 17, September 10-14, 2017, at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL.
“We’re definitely excited to have a booth at Print 17 for the first time, and even more so because it will give us the perfect platform to showcase “The Complete Prepress Solution,” including our Paragon Plate Line and BWI 400-800 Series CTP,” said BWI Marketing Director Leslie DiVincenzo. “We’ll have a fully functional CTP operating in our booth -- #3663 -- along with technical and sales personnel to answer any questions.”
Print 17 is the year’s largest and most innovative graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas, with more than 450 exhibitors displaying the latest technologies, solutions and applications, as well as a broad range of educational seminars and networking events.
“We also see our exhibit at Print 17 as a chance for people to meet BWI and the partners that work with us,” DiVincenzo added. “Our solutions are about more than the equipment. They’re also about people and relationships. Everything is backed by our personal guarantee and everything from sales to customer and equipment service will be handled directly by us and our trusted network.”
BWI’s Paragon Plate Line features a full range of plates that fit seamlessly into any modern prepress operation, including the Paragon Plus and Paragon Plus CR positive thermal plates, Paragon DOP (develop-on-press) negative thermal plate and the Paragon Violet negative photopolymer plate. All of the plates are made with high-quality Japanese and European aluminum and offer both upfront cost savings as well as long-term savings on energy, water and chemistry.
With over 800 units sold worldwide since 2010, the private-labeled BWI 400, 800 Series and 800 Plus CTPs feature quality parts from Japan and the USA, diode technology, simple electronics for low maintenance, moving parts that are pneumatics, and heavy-duty construction all at an affordable price. Each series comes in three models with speeds of 16, 22, and 28 plates per hour and includes the Tiff Catcher compatible with the Xitron Navigator Tiff RIP and Sierra Workflow.
