Ultimate Paperbox Plans “Surprising” Open House Featuring RMGT

Press release from the issuing company

The California packaging printer will show off the full breadth of its equipment and capabilities, with a few surprises planned for guests.

PLACENTIA, CA - Ultimate Paperbox Co., based in City of Industry, CA, will be hosting an Open House event on Friday, August 11 to celebrate the opening of their new 120,000 square foot facility. The complex now has space for both their flexible and offset packaging printing lines, allowing them to produce any type of label or package, for any type of product, on any type of material.

One of the presses they will be celebrating is their RMGT 10 Series Press, installed last year. The 6-color, plus coater, 41-inch press was purchased brand new, and allowed them to upgrade the speed, quality and consistency across the board over their older Mitsubishi Diamond D3000 press that was traded out. They purchased the new equipment from RM Machinery, part of the Graphic Systems North America group of authorized RMGT dealers in the United States and Canada.

“We fell in love with this press from the moment we saw it,” said Janak Patel, Owner, Ultimate Paperbox. “This machine is a workhorse — it just runs, runs, runs with very little maintenance. And it has great quality to boot.”

The shop handles a wide range of commercial packaging products, for national customers that range from high-end cosmetics to food and pharmaceutical products. They run two shifts, and, said Patel, with the new building and new capacity, they are ready to take on the next challenge. “After we moved, we have a lot more room to grow,” he noted. “That’s why we’re doing the open house. We want to show off everything that we’re capable of, so customers know the wide range of services we offer. I want everyone who walks in the door to just say ‘wow.’”

“This is an amazing business, that has grown from two employees to the state-of-the-art facility that employs more than 120 people today,” said Rahul Kaushik, CEO, RM Machinery. “We are incredibly proud to be part of their story, and to support them as they continue to grow into new markets, and add new capabilities. And we are incredibly honored to have been invited to attend their open house, where we’ll be on hand to answer questions about the RMGT 10 Series press and what is it capable of producing.”

The open house is open to the public, and Patel is expecting more than 200 customers, vendors, and local press to be there, along with industry leaders from many of the OEMs they partner with. In addition to tours of the facilities and presentations on the various equipment and capabilities they offer, they have a few surprises planned for those who attend as well. “We don’t want to give it away, but all of our guests will be pleasantly surprised by the entertainment we have lined up!” said Patel.
