Press release from the issuing company

Packed program gives lots of reasons to attend.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The 2017 Flexo Tech Summit brings together a wide range of top technologies companies from across the industry to provide all-encompassing solutions for flexo packaging printers. The event will include the latest information and demonstrations about digital workflows, color management, flexo plate imaging and much more. The 2017 Flexo Tech Summit will feature presentations by: CRON-ECRM; MacDermid Graphics Solutions; GMG Color; Kodak; Heights; Beta Industries; Founder; and Brotech.

Designed to fit into even the busiest of schedules, the 2017 Flex Tech Summit will be held in two different cities — in Atlanta, GA on July 25; and in Cleveland, OH on August 8. Both dates will feature both a morning and an afternoon track, with a common lunch for all attendees. The morning and the afternoon tracks will be identical, allowing attendees to not only pick the city that best suits them, but also the time of day that will best fit into their schedules. John Marzec, Product Marketing, CRON-ECRM, said, “CRON-ECRM is incredibly honored to be part of this event. The flexo packaging market is exploding, and there are more solutions for this market than ever before. With this unique event, we are able to show how our solutions — all from different vendors — can work together in a seamless, end-to-end workflow. It’s not enough to just have the best equipment and technology, printers also need solutions that allow them to be more efficient, which in turn allows them to be more profitable. I believe the 2017 Flexo Tech Summit is a step in that direction.”

One of the highlights of the event will be the CRON-ECRM HDI 600 Flexo CTP solution, which the company will have on hand for demonstrations. HDI 600 Flexo CTP uses CRON-ECRM’s latest magnetic linear drive system, which is renowned for its ability to image accurate and high-quality dots. It provides a fault-free imaging experience, ensuring precision printing from all digital photopolymer plates, ablative films, and polyester-based letterpress plates.

“This impressive technology will revolutionize the flexographic plate market. We are incredibly excited to be able to have it on hand, where attendees will be able to see for themselves the difference between the HDI 600 Flexo CTP system and everything else on the market today,” said Marzec.
