Compu-mail Expands Direct Mail Capabilities with Two Xerox Rialto 900 Inkjet Presses

Press release from the issuing company

High quality, fast speeds, small footprint and crisp color are critical production press components to direct marketing and business print provider Compu-mail. When they wanted to replace aging technology to drive new business efficiencies and expand their direct mail production capabilities, they turned to inkjet technology and purchased two Xerox Rialto 900 Inkjet Presses.

“Our Rialto 900 presses allow us to produce full color variable printing at a great quality level and price – ultimately helping our shop be more efficient and drive down costs,” said Michael Vitch, President and CEO, Compu-mail. “These presses also help us further advance to the forefront of variable print technology.”

Headquartered in Grand Island, N.Y., Compu-mail brings direct marketing campaigns to life through comprehensive print, mail and web-based pieces. In addition to the Rialto 900’s, Compu-mail also utilizes XMPie, a Xerox Company, technology – XMPie PersonalEffect to drive personalization and XMPie Circle for direct marketing campaign management.

Compu-mail helps its customers reach their audience with unique and targeted messages at the right time – whether it’s full personalization variable data printing or behavior-based trigger marketing. They serve a variety of customers across industries including retail, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, automotive and higher education.

The Rialto 900 is a narrow-web, integrated roll-to-cut-sheet design that helps it fit on any size production floor and provides a cost-effective way to deliver everything from high-value, high-quality direct mail applications, full color bills and statements and short run books. Two new inline finishing options allow customers to easily print, perforate, cut and stack a job all within a small self-contained footprint.

The Rialto 900 Inkjet Press and two new inline finishing options will be on display at PRINT 17 in Chicago. Stop by Xerox booth #1302 to see the technology live.
