Fairfax, Virginia - Plans are underway for a digital textile printing conference, jointly hosted by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and AATCC, The Association of Textile, Apparel and Materials Professionals, November 29–30, 2017, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
The two-day event will feature well-respected experts focusing on solutions-based topics and case studies in three primary categories: image workflow and design, technology and markets, and sourcing and supply chain.
“Digital textile printing is coming of age,” said Johnny Shell, Vice President of Technical Services, SGIA. “SGIA and AATCC are committed to providing opportunities for digital textile printers at every level to advance alongside their technology.”
SGIA and AATCC have issued a call for abstracts for the conference, their second collaboration.
“Presenting at the AATCC/SGIA digital textile printing conference will benefit speakers as much as it does the conference attendees,” said Shell. “It’s a great way to raise your company’s profile and your own — and to give back to the industry.”
Topics should incorporate the following areas:
Submissions are due to Johnny Shell, Vice President of Technical Services, SGIA ([email protected]), no later than July 31. To be considered, potential speakers must include a presentation title, abstract, three learning outcomes/take-aways and contact information — omitting any of these components will disqualify the submission. A program committee will review the abstracts and notify speakers of the status; presenters will receive complimentary registration to the conference.
