Press release from the issuing company
Meech will be displaying its web cleaning systems and Hyperion range of anti-static bars on stand (6C34) at Labelexpo Europe 2017 (Brussels Expo, 25th September - 28th September). The company will be looking to highlight the ways in which these technologies can improve product quality in the labelling market.
Adam Battrick, Sales Director at Meech says: "Meech understands the challenges the labelling and packaging industries face and Labelexpo gives us the opportunity to tackle these issues. We continue to develop our technologies and tailor them to suit the various needs of our customers. It is our close collaboration with them that allows us to learn about the problems in the industry and offer a bespoke solution."
On display alongside the Hyperion range will be Meech's complete set of web cleaning systems, including the CycleanTM and TakCleanTM. The CyClean(tm) is a compact non-contact system designed to remove and extract contamination. Meech have optimised the cleaning efficiency of the CyClean(tm) to remove contamination to below 1 micron. It is best suited for high speed presses and can handle virtually any substrate. As a result, with new ink jet printable webs becoming available, the system provides a future proof solution. The TakClean(tm), a contact web cleaner employed within the label printing sector, features specifically formulated TransTak elastomer contact cleaning rollers and perforated adhesive rolls, which make it ideal for narrower and slower presses.
Visitors to the stand will be able to view a number of products from the Hyperion range, including the Hyperion 971IPS, 929IPS and 924IPS anti-static bars. Providing long-range and mid-range ionisation respectively, the 971IPS and 929IPS bars offer extremely powerful static control, while the 924IPS is one of the most compact pulsed ionising bars on the market. The Hyperion range provides industry-leading static elimination, with the bars' default settings allowing quick and easy installation for use on converting lines.
Battrick concludes: "We are delighted to be returning to Labelexpo, and are very much looking forward to engaging with a wide, international audience and demonstrate to visitors why Meech has such a long heritage in the labelling sector. Our expert team will be on hand to give advice and answer any questions they have."
