Irvine, Calif. – Clemson University’s Campus Banner + Design was honored with a prestigious In-Plant Innovator Award at the In-Plant Innovators Conference held on May 10, 2017 at the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) in Washington D.C. Campus Banner + Design, a Roland user, received the award during a special presentation at the conference, which brings together industry leaders from around the country to discuss emerging trends and opportunities in digital printing and publishing.
A full-service graphic design and production facility located on the Clemson University campus in South Carolina, Campus Banner + Design was recognized by In-Plant Graphics for its ability to “employ innovative thinking to create new business opportunities.” The shop, which is staffed by students from a variety of degree programs, has served the needs of Clemson, as well as local businesses, non-profits, civic organizations and other nearby universities, since 2007. Campus Banner + Design relies on its advanced Roland SOLJET wide-format digital printer/cutters to produce everything from vehicle graphics, banners and posters to environmental graphics, wall graphics and canvas photos and prints. In addition to its brick-and-mortar operation, Campus Banner + Design does a considerable amount of business through its website, which allows 24/7 access and convenient online ordering.
“We’re very excited about winning this award,” said Campus Banner + Design Production Manager Nathan Smith. “Thanks to our innovative business practices, dedicated staff, and the quality, versatility and cost-efficiency of our Roland equipment, we’ve been able to increase our revenues by 204 percent since 2011.”
