- Reads and verifies each intelligent mail bar code (IMB) to ensure that each printed bar code complies with USPS dimensional specifications, thus enabling the printer or mailer to qualify for maximum postal discounts.

- Identifies any missing or duplicate pieces in a production run by parsing the unique identifier contained in the IMB code, and either checks the sequencing of the identifier or compares it to a data file.

- Generates integrity reports to prove the integrity of the production run and provide an audit trail of each piece of mail.
