Charlotte, North Carolina - Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America is thrilled to once again participate as an exhibitor at the upcoming 2017 FFTA Forum and INFO*FLEX exhibition. A four-day event that hosts informative sessions, networking opportunities, exhibits and more, this annual industry gathering draws leading flexographic professionals and companies from around the world.
This year, INFO*FLEX is hosting more than 300 exhibitors from various facets of the industry, all of which will be demonstrating the services, technology, and products that they have innovated to improve the flexographic performance of their clientele. Harper Corporation of America will be among these companies and is scheduled to discuss its most ground-breaking offerings and technologies.
Harper will be exhibiting and delivering briefings on how Harper programs, services, surface technology, and engravings can enhance efficient print consistency and improve profitability. In addition, representatives will also answer any questions about the Harper Express Program – the fastest anilox delivery program in the industry for most popular the narrow web presses.
Among the products being showcased is Harper’s HIVE (High Image Volume Engravings) line of engravings series which delivers high levels of print quality and predictability with exclusive print performance. This will include Harper’s exclusive patent-pending Cladless Anilox Sleeve Technology which features no aluminum cladding, lighter weight, corrosion resistance, and more. Also on display will be the new colors added to the RTV synthetic end rings on Harper Anilox Sleeves. These colors allow printers to color code their inventory by line screen, volume, or specific press. The company will also feature its award-winning patented QD™ ink proofing and flatbed printing system. This system has become the color-matching proofer of choice by many of the leading ink manufacturers.
In addition, Harper’s HEX division will display its line of plate and bridge sleeves which are specially designed to decrease downtime and minimize make ready.
Harper Corporation of America’s Tony Donato will also be a featured speaker at the Forum Trending Now 2017 on Wednesday, May 3, presenting “Anilox Basics 101” His presentation will explain the form and function of the anilox roller in basic terms followed by a live demonstration. During the demonstration, he will review the common geometries of the anilox including how key elements such as line screen and volume affect print quality and consistency.
