Stuttgart - In a move that proves Flint Group has ambitious plans for its Flexible Packaging business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, they announce today the appointment of Dr Pablo Steenwinkel as EMEA Technical Director, Flexible Packaging.

Dr Steenwinkel joins Flint Group on May 1^st 2017 from Avery Dennison, where he is currently R&D Director for Europe and member of their European Leadership Team. With a strong background in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry and with his key area of expertise in polymer chemistry related to inks, coatings and adhesives, he brings a passion for success and team collaboration to this crucial position.

Commenting on the new member of her Leadership Team, VP of Sales & Global Strategy for the Flexible Packaging business, Dagmar Schmidt said “Dr Steenwinkel will be responsible for the Technical Management Team in Europe; a key role that will drive our ambitious product development and technical service excellence strategy. Dr Steenwinkel is a Dutch national and a graduate of the University of Leiden where he gained an MSc in Organic Chemistry, and the University of Utrecht where he gained his doctorate in Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis
