Press release from the issuing company
CSL Digital, in partnership with Fujifilm, will present the latest Acuity UV print technologies on Stand H32 at Sign + Digital UK 2017. Making their debut this year will be the new Acuity LED 1600 II roll/flatbed hybrid UV printer and the super wide format Acuity 3200R roll to roll UV printer.
The new LED 1600 II will be demonstrated in both roll fed and flatbed print formats on the stand. This will give visitors the opportunity to see the superior print quality and impressive productivity of the LED 1600 II with roll media and its versatility and creativity with rigid sheets when in flatbed mode.
Configured with eight UVijet inks, including white and gloss, the LED 1600 II features Fujifilm’s state of the art Dimatix industrial print heads, which are designed to deliver superior quality and a long service life in high production print environments. Fujifilm also equips the LED 1600 II with long lasting, low energy LED lamps that provide instant UV ink curing along with significant energy savings.
Visitors will be particularly impressed to see the LED 1600 II printing colours, white and gloss layers simultaneously, as this feature dramatically reduces the time it normally takes to print window graphics and other clear vinyl print applications.
Huw Davies, Sales and Marketing Director, CSL Digital, “The new Acuity LED 1600 UV printer is absolutely ideal for sign and display companies looking to offer their customers the best of both print worlds – roll media and rigid sheet. With the LED 1600, businesses can achieve this goal with the minimum investment in production equipment and a much smaller footprint in their workshop. We plan to make the LED 1600 printer even more appealing at the exhibition by offering visitors a choice of exclusive show incentives, including 0% finance, a free 1600mm wide CAD/CAM cutter or a printer trade in opportunity worth up to £5000.”
Visitors to CSL and Fujifilm with even wider print ambitions will not be disappointed when they see the truly impressive Acuity LED 3200R. With its imposing 3.2m print width, lightning fast print speeds and, in the world of grand format printing, comparatively modest price tag, the new Acuity LED3200R is enough to stop visitors to the exhibition in their tracks. This new super wide format UV printer from Fujifilm has been grabbing headlines for all the right reasons since its launch in Europe late last year.
The LED 3200R is configured to use the very latest Fujifilm UV inks (CMYK, Lc, Lm + white and clear if required) and has several innovative features designed to assist the operator to achieve higher quality prints and even greater productivity, including a very useful back-lit inspection panel mounted to the front of the printer and running its entire length.
Nick Wintle, Managing Director, CSL Digital, “Companies that need to produce high quality banners, displays, exhibition work, retail and window graphics, up to 3.2m wide, at high speeds and in large volumes, should make it an exhibition priority to spend some quality time with us and the Fujifilm Acuity LED 3200R. It’s dual roll print versatility will really appeal to businesses involved in the supply of printed wallpapers and wall coverings too.”
In addition to the star attractions, there will also be some other exciting Fujifilm innovations being showcased for the first time at a Sign + Digital exhibition. Most notably, Fujifilm’s Imagine print order platform that allows companies to offer print products and services to customers in store and online. This multi-channel solution also allows customers to upload artwork and order banners, posters, canvasses and printing of all kinds from their own computers and mobile devices or by using an in-store retail kiosk.
Visitors to CSL and Fujifilm will be invited to use demonstration kiosks on the stand to try out Fujifilm Imagine for themselves and discover how this ‘off-the-shelf’ ecommerce system has the potential to transform the way they sell their print products and services.
