Press release from the issuing company
Kettering, UK - For the first time, Kettering-based distributor i-Sub will be demonstrating the new Mimaki UJF 6042 MKII UV printer at Sign & Digital UK. Visitors to stand B12 will see how Mimaki’s latest LED UV flatbed printer brings increased productivity and ease of use to on-demand, direct-to-object printing.
With a print area of 610mm x 420mm the UJF 6042 offers limitless opportunities for printing onto almost any material and provides outstanding, business-building potential in the rapidly expanding field of personalised products. Vivid colour precision is provided by the latest print technology and a vast colour gamut that includes CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white, clear and primer. Primer allows printing onto surfaces that would normally be UV ink-resistant, including glass, plastics and metal.
Benefits of the new model include: direct printing onto substrates up to 153mm thick and weighing up to 8kg; Mimaki bulk ink system with 250ml or 1,000ml bottles; exceptional print quality thanks to Mimaki’s MAPS4, MFD1 and variable dot print technology; choice of LH-100 or LUS-120 inks, each with 9 colours including white, clear and primer; and a fully enclosed print area offering protection from dust affecting print quality
The i-Sub team will also be exhibiting the Epson dye sublimation system, plus the stand will feature numerous examples of finished dye sublimation applications created on Mimaki, Epson, Dgen and EFI machines. Visitors will be able to experience the beautiful and striking effects possible using dye sublimation technology and the astonishing array of textiles and materials that can be printed. Alongside these will be a whole catalogue of application samples to demonstrate what can be achieved with the Agfa and Mimaki industrial UV systems, and the Mimaki solvent printers.
Nick Davies, Director at i-Sub, comments: “2017 will be an exciting year for us at the Sign & Digital Show. We have a deep understanding of the solutions available and can help ensure you only invest in the best technology to match your needs and move your business forward with confidence. Our team will also explain how our high level of technical support will get your new machines working quickly and easily, so they will start earning you a return on your investment as soon as possible. Whether integrating your investment as part of an existing workflow or establishing a new business opportunity and revenue stream we will help make the process painless and fast.
“In addition to the applications being demonstrated on our stand, we will also display a raft of pre-printed samples across a wide range of materials and products. There will be special show offers on the stand – including the i-Sub Digi-Foil system, which offers a superior finish on all foiling applications, especially on large flat areas of foil that were previously unachievable. Digi-Foil can easily apply block foils up to 400mm wide while retaining a superb level of fine detail – with a foil dot size going down to 0.5mm if required.”
i-Sub and its key representatives will be found on stand B12 throughout Sign & Digital UK 2017. If you would like to make an appointment in advance, please email [email protected].
