IQDEMY Holding, an innovative and market leading company within the inkjet arena, is proud to announce that its subsidiary, UV-LED printing studio, has achieved EN ISO 12543-4 certification for its glass printing employing IQDEMY large and very large format UV-LED printers.

EN-ISO 12543-4 certification confirms compliance of the printed glass for façade glazing where no water intrusion is allowed to occur. It encompasses rigorous tests as to print quality and adhesion on glass substrates. Among these trials a duration test at temperatures of 100°C for 48 hours as well as a 1-hour test at temperatures from 110 to 140°C is carried out. Prints from IQDEMY’s industrial UV-LED printers passed those tests with flying feathers as no signs of bubbles nor lift-offs of print or image blurs could be registered. 

As direct result UV-LED printing studio received several significant premium orders in the B2B sector, among them balcony balustrades for buildings in Courbevoie; a big ready-made project of glass units for Hermes as well as printing on laminated glass for the Palace of Versailles. 

In addition, UV-LED printing studio also printed a huge panorama decorating the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Also, the Ritz Hotel can be counted among its customers with its décor having been printed on IQDEMY’s large format printers.

Printed glass employing UV-LED ink from UV-LED printing studio is not only sought after in France. Just recently a pilot patch of magnetic glass got printed in order to secure and order for decoration of the palace from His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
