Appleton Coated Expands Ethos® Enhanced Inkjet Options for High-Speed Inkjet Presses

Combined Locks, Wis. – Appleton Coated expands its Ethos® Enhanced Inkjet adding 45, 50, 60, 70 and 80 lb Text to the existing 7- and 9-point Covers. This unique product offers a smooth, silk, coated-like feel for high-speed inkjet presses. Ethos Enhanced Inkjet has high-bright, blue-white shade and is designed to provide enhanced image quality and improved color vibrancy in comparison to standard uncoated inkjet papers.

“Market feedback from inkjet press owners – utilizing both dye- and pigment-based inks - has been uniformly positive. On-press performance, image quality, ink density, and color fidelity is exceeding their expectations and that of their standard uncoated substrates.” says John Mazuroski, Appleton Coated’s vice president uncoated and specialty products. He continues, “This high-performance, uncoated paper works on multiple inkjet platforms, making it ideal for many applications. It is giving our customers a high-quality, high-value choice for full color inkjet presses. And it’s made and stocked in the USA to ensure quick delivery for customers.”
