Press release from the issuing company
SANTA ANA, California - Markzware, leading innovator of data conversion software and desktop publishing tools, announces the addition of Adobe InDesign CC 2017 support for the popular MarkzTools2 application and suite of plugins.
MarkzTools2 now supports file conversion of InDesign CC 2017 layouts. The stand-alone application MarkzTools2 can convert InDesign files to IDML. The application does not need to have InDesign on the machine to create IDML files from InDesign documents. The updated MarkzTools Plug-Ins for InDesign CS5, CS5.5 and CS6 allow you to now open InDesign CC 2017 files in these earlier versions of InDesign.
The MarkzTools Plug-Ins can be used to open and modify documents created in newer versions of InDesign, including CC 2017. The MarkzTools Plug-Ins are easy to use and take the graphics guesswork out of working with InDesign files created in various versions of the native application.
“I had to tell you thanks for having a great product… Your MarkzTools2 stand-alone application for conversion to IDML format did what it was supposed to do when a Jr. designer decided to upgrade to ID 2017 without checking with the IT department first. On top of that ID 2017 seems to have a crash issue when trying to save down so I was thinking we would have to eat some hours to fix these issues. You have personally saved me lots of tears and frustration,” said John Gibson, IT Administrator, Scout.
“That is a perfect application for users still on CS6, that may get in CC files. Plus, as a stand-alone IDML creator, which MarkzTools2 also is, makes it very handy for any InDesign user!” stated Rainer Klute, Mitdenker & Kommunikationsdesigner, Standortleiter der InDesign User Group Hamburg.
System Requirements, Pricing and Availability?:
The MarkzTools2 application as well as the MarkzTools Plug-Ins all require Mac OS X 10.6.8 or higher. Markzware’s MarkzTools for InDesign and pricing are available via the MarkzTools2 page as a Mac Subscription bundle. Anyone who purchased a MarkzTools Perpetual license on or after July 1, 2016, is eligible for a free (complimentary) upgrade to the new MarkzTools2 annual subscription bundle.
