Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIA/SD) Announces New Member for the Statewide Printing Industries of California (PIC) Board of Directors
SAN DIEGO – The Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIA/SD), the local association serving the graphic arts and printing industries in San Diego and Imperial County, announced Summer Gould, president of Eye/Comm to be on the board of directors of the Printing Industries California (PIC). She will join Therese Fleming of RR Donnelley on the board as the San Diego reps.
Printing Industries of California provides members of the graphics arts industries with information, tools, and other material on regulatory compliance, trends in industry and governmental advocacy.
“I’m honored to be able to represent PIA San Diego on the PIC board to work toward solutions for the graphic arts industry ranging from regulatory issues, tax impacts and legislative action to help businesses operate as efficiently as possible in CA,” says Summer. “I’m proud to be serving alongside influential innovators across the state.”
In addition to her role in PIC, Summer is also a board member for PIA San Diego and MSMA. She is on the national board of directors for Idealliance. She was chosen by Women of Distinction Magazine as woman of the year in her field. She was chosen by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Marketing. Idealliance chose her for induction into the Soderstrom Society 2016 in recognition for contributions to advance the graphic communications industry. She has also been profiled on Forbes Agency Council.
