GIS to Showcase Latest Atlas and Ink System Innovation at InPrint 2016

Press release from the issuing company

Global Inkjet Systems (GIS), a leading developer of software, machine control and sub-systems for industrial inkjet, will demonstrate its latest release of the Atlas® suite of products and the newest features of its ink system components at InPrint (Stand D34).

Building on its successful launch in 2015, GIS will be showcasing the latest release of the powerful Atlas® User Interface (UI) and Atlas® Machine Control Services (MCS). Atlas® UI is available with two different user interface control options: windowed mode, which is shipped as standard, provides highly flexible control; and kiosk mode, which provides a more controlled and limited interface for different operator levels. Atlas® MCS is a new powerful server technology for managing the entire printing and sub-system process - from image to swathe conversion and integration of workflow through to print queues, transport and beyond. Visitors will be able to see a live demonstration of this flexible, high performance software platform, including: Atlas® SDK Programmable Logic Controller; ink system graphing tools; a view of different UI themes, and the new Printhead View tool for increased visualization of small to wide arrays.

In addition, GIS will showcase its successful range of Ink System Components - comprising software, electronics, and a series of customisable header tanks and peripheral components.  GIS’ modular approach, combined with expert consultation, offers an ideal solution for industrial inkjet systems of any size. At InPrint, there will be an example of a working ink system on display, including a demonstration of the new Ink System Pressure Monitor – a real time, diagnostics and pressure monitoring tool.

“GIS is pleased to be demonstrating both the innovation and performance of our latest range of inkjet solutions at InPrint,” says Debbie Thorp, Business Development Director.  “The show’s focus provides an ideal platform to showcase our technology for the ever-expanding industrial inkjet sector.”
