RMGT rolled out live press demonstrations and expanded distribution plans during Graph Expo 2016
MARIETTA, GA - Graphic Systems North America (GSNA), the Authorized Distributor for RMGT (RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology Ltd.) offset presses in North America, announces the expansion of their distribution arrangement with RMGT after a very successful exhibition during Graph Expo 16 (Sept 25-28, 2016) in Orlando. In addition to the line of RMGT sheetfed offset presses that target the commercial print market in North America, the GSNA network of authorized resellers will also represent the RMGT 10 Series and 11 Series presses, focusing on the needs of the packaging and folding carton market.
“The live press demonstrations during Graph Expo validate that the RMGT 9 Series press is establishing itself as the “short-run offset press” of choice among commercial printers in North America,” states Scot Gilbert, President of Paper Handling Solutions, Southeast representative of RMGT. “Allen Printing, a successful commercial printer in Nashville, TN, was looking to close the production efficiency gap between long run and short run jobs. After learning the advantages of LED-UV technology, they purchased the 9 Series, 5-color press with LED-UV curing that we had on the showfloor. This was one of a number of orders taken during Graph Expo.”
RMGT took advantage of Graph Expo 2016 to lay out plans for expansion in the North American market. “We are pleased to expand our distribution with the GSNA members as they articulate the unique RMGT value proposition to the packaging and folding carton market in North America,” states Kozac Takata, Manager of International Sales and Marketing, RMGT. “GSNA will provide an end-to-end solution for customers offering printing equipment, technical service and parts for all RMGT customers in North America.” The GSNA is a network of six authorized dealers delivering exclusive access to the entire line of RMGT offset and digital presses for commercial, packaging and in-plant printers in the U.S. and Canada. Under the new agreement, RM Machinery has joined the GSNA and will provide parts and service for the new 10 Series and 11 Series presses, as well as address the needs of the existing install base of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries presses in the field.
