Hudson, NH USA – Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announced it will showcase its wide range of eco-friendly printing solutions at The Print Show 2016, 11-13^thOctober at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.

Presstek, exhibiting in Hall 3A, stand F31 will be running live demonstrations of its PRESSTEK 52DI ECO-UV. This digital offset waterless press with all-new integrated low energy ECO-UV curing system delivers high-quality and quick turnarounds while reducing environmental impact. Printing up to 10,000 sph for sheet sizes up to 520mmx375mm on a wide range of substrates including vinyl and plastics, it allows customers to diversify current product offerings. The PRESSTEK 52DI ECO-UV incorporates on-press chemistry-free thermal laser imaging and has high levels of built-in automation for maximum efficiency and ease of use.

On the color management side, the new DI AutoColor, closed-loop color control system makes the DI proposition even stronger. Designed to further minimize ink and substrate waste while providing highly consistent color, it will also be a key exhibit at the Show. 

Visitors at The Print Show can also learn about Presstek’s new Dimension Pro2 thermal CTP system and comprehensive range of chemistry-free, thermal, violet, inkjet, and waterless plate bundling options. Thermal plates being imaged live at the show on the Dimension Pro2, include:

• Nytro – Presstek’s newest eco-friendly, high-performance, simple wash-out solution plate is UV compatible and suitable for a range of processing configurations and press types, including sheetfed or web, heatset, coldset or UV. 
• GemPlate – For the ultimate simplicity in platemaking, GemPlate is chemistry-free and develops on press. GemPlate will be imaged on the new Presstek Dimension Pro2 thermal platesetter as well as other 830NM thermal imaging systems. Presstek also provides full service and support for Presstek branded and other major brand CTP systems.
