Press release from the issuing company
San Leandro, CA – John Sweeterman, a highly respected industry veteran who has spent over 20 years accumulating invaluable experience in many disciplines, is the new General Manager of INX Digital’s facility in San Leandro, California. He also works with the division’s European teams and reports directly to Rick Clendenning, President and CEO of INX International Ink Co.
“John brings extensive management experience to our company, with proven success promoting new products and technology,” commented Mr. Clendenning. “We are looking forward to the opportunity of capitalizing on his knowledge to support our business development efforts and grow digital sales. I know he is eager to work with all of our divisions to support the “EVOLVE” program, as we assist our traditional customers who want to move into a digital solution within their own businesses.”
Mr. Sweeterman joined INX Digital after working as a senior account executive at Chromatic Technologies, Inc., where he managed global business development for emerging packaging technology of specialty inks and coatings. He also has prior advertising agency and prepress business experience with brand strategy and brand packaging.
After beginning his career working for a large consumer products business and selling to retailers, Sweeterman parlayed that experience into managing a large format digital printing business that sold temporary and permanent display graphics to retailers, franchises, restaurants, and grocery and convenience stores. He believes these successful ventures have set the stage for his next challenge.
“With sales offices and manufacturing on three continents, INX Digital delivers TRIANGLE® ink around the world. Our partners reach the doorsteps of print shops globally. Whether you are looking for UV curable, solvent or aqueous inks, bulk ink delivery systems or liquid laminates, TRIANGLE has a money saving solution to fit your needs.”
Sweeterman says the EVOLVE and PRODIGY brand lines were developed so traditional and industrial printers looking to add digital to their operations can take advantage of a huge market opportunity.
“Consumers are craving differentiation and want unique experiences with the products they buy. This demand is driving growth in short and mid-run packaging, and part of our global strategy is to lead the way in the development of software, hardware, and digital inks so we own a major share in this market. Our product development teams have introduced narrow web, flatbed and cylindrical digital press equipment - all powered by JetINX™ - as well as custom consultation and integration services. We plan to continue working hard to develop the next generation of products to position our company, partners and customers for long term mutual success.”
