ATLANTA, Ga. - TAPPI is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the PaperCon 2017.  Authors interested in presenting in the Papermaking Program or the Recycled Paperboard Technical Association Production-Technical Seminar (RPTA P-T) should submit an abstract before November 11, 2016.  Authors interested in presenting in the Coating & Graphic Arts Program should submit their abstract by October 28, 2016.  All abstracts should be submitted electronically to the TAPPI Speaker Management System.

The Papermaking Program will focus on papermaking best practices, papermaking additives, process control and fluid fundamentals.  The RPTA P-T seminar will focus on topics relevant to manufacturers of recycled board grades.  Specific requested topics and abstract deadlines are included in the Papermaking and RPTA P-T Invitation to Present.   The Coating & Graphic Arts Program will emphasize paper packaging and board specific topics but abstracts on general coating and graphic arts topics are also welcome.  Details about specific requested topics and deadlines can be found in the Coating & Graphic Arts Invitation to Present.

Accepted abstract authors will be invited to submit their presentation for review by the program committee. Feedback will be provided to presenters through a peer review process, and the presentation in its final format will be due to TAPPI in early February for inclusion in the 2017 conference proceedings.
