Press release from the issuing company
Ghent, Belgium – Enfocus brings together disruptive technology, customer collaboration, and industry partnerships to create solutions that transform a company’s operation. The success of these efforts will be on display at Graph Expo 2016, where Enfocus and its partners will demonstrate these products. These solutions let users easily automate the repetitive tasks in their operations and experience significant improvements in productivity, quality and profitability.
Fabian Prudhomme, Vice President at Enfocus, says, “Print service providers are in a constant struggle to keep pace in a market that is always evolving. But what if these providers could think differently and spend less time struggling and more time enjoying success? At Graph Expo, Enfocus will be showcasing solutions that use automation in new and unexpected ways so that print service providers can focus on what matters. Whether it’s creating a workflow with applications developed by another user, giving your customer a desktop tool to improve the quality of incoming jobs, or improving the way a user reviews and inspects the PDFs they approve, Enfocus has the solutions to refresh your business, automate your repetitive tasks, and give today’s print service providers a much needed opportunity to relax and make your business more profitable.”
Technical solutions in action
Enfocus is known around the world for developing software that controls the quality of PDF files for print and automates the workflow process. By connecting print service providers, publishers and designers, Enfocus solutions streamline the complete production chain – from design to final print.
In booth 2167 at Graph Expo, Enfocus is showing how the company has built on this successful foundation by combining ideas, innovation and collaboration to create disruptive solutions that better support users around the globe. These solutions include:
The Enfocus Appstore for Switch users: Since its introduction earlier this year, the Enfocus Appstore has quickly grown to become a vital resource for Switch customers who wish to automate even more repetitive tasks.
The success of this online marketplace is due in large part to the way it taps into the expertise and deep market knowledge of Switch users, Channel Partners, and integrators. Together, this vital Switch Community makes their expertise available through a robust co-creation platform that is the foundation of the Enfocus Appstore.
Later this year, Enfocus will make some apps on the Enfocus Appstore available for free to all Switch 13 users. Offering apps free of charge means even more users can enjoy the automation benefits these apps create, including lower stress, faster workflows, enhanced customer service and increased profitability.
Switch PDF Review Module: Managing the PDF approval process is cumbersome and time-consuming and can often result in a customer approving files that are not consistent with what they wanted to be produced.
At Graph Expo, Enfocus is demonstrating how to solve these PDF review challenges with an integrated solution called Switch PDF Review Module. This new add-on module for Enfocus Switch gives users an easy way to view PDFs and perform object-based inspection and review – all from within an HTML5 based interface on a desktop or tablet.
Complex PDF Preflight of PitStop: When it comes to creation and preflight, packaging, large format, and labeling production can be very challenging. PitStop 13 Update 2 removes those challenges. By using the latest industry standard, the powerful preflight capabilities in PitStop now handle even the most complex PDFs.
With this update, print service providers involved in Packaging, Labelling, and Large Format can enjoy the improved efficiency, increased quality and reduced costs that PitStop supports.
PitStop 13 Update 2 also includes updated Pantone libraries and improvements, preflight restrictions, and a subscription option for PitStop Server.
Enfocus Connect 13 Update 3: With Connect ALL 13 update 3, the value of automation now extends all the way to the customer’s desktop. Connect ALL gives customers the ability to deploy dynamic HTML job tickets in their remote Connectors.
These new Connectors enhance the experience of the print service provider’s customer, while providing a way to capture important job-related information that can ultimately flow directly into the workflow of the print service provider. This updated release also includes the PitStop 13 Update 2 library.
Used separately or together, these solutions can significantly improve the efficiency of a print service provider, helping them, save time and money while improving customer satisfaction.
