Expo competition honors the products that move the industry forward

Fairfax, Virginia - The September 2 deadline to enter the 2016 SGIA Product of the Year Competition is two weeks away — which means there is still time to submit your entries! Prove that your company is among the best of the best and show off your award on the SGIA Expo floor in front of thousands of potential buyers.

The competition has a combined 49 categories for both output and non-output devices. A staggering 43 companies with a total of 125 products have already been entered for consideration, all vying for the renowned title of Product of the Year Winner in their category.

“Thousands of people walked through the Golden Image/Product of the Year Gallery last year to check out the entries, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year,” said Ray Weiss, SGIA’s Digital Imaging Specialist. “So far we are on pace to far surpass the number of entries we had last year, so don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your product by entering the competition.”

All competition categories will be judged on Tuesday, September 13, the day before the SGIA Expo begins. Winners will be announced that evening at the first-ever Awards Presentation from 7:00–9:00 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center — so attendees will be able to spot the famous Product of the Year logo the moment they hit the show floor on Wednesday morning.
