Press release from the issuing company
Roland DG UK are pleased to announce that Roland DG Academy will shortly start offering Adobe Illustrator modular courses, giving users the chance to utilise Roland DG technology even more effectively in their businesses.
Targeted at those who want to expand their graphic knowledge in Illustrator, and integrate the software into their print workflow, or just expand their knowledge of the popular design software, the course consists of two flexible modules spread across two full day sessions.
The first module offered consists of a full overview for basic or novice users, allowing them to utilise the software to its full potential, which will help develop more efficient design processes. Attendees will be taught about basic shape editing, creating cutlines, and how to make use of the many tools Illustrator offers print businesses to make their job easier and more efficient.
For those interested in learning more about Illustrator, but already have an understanding of the basics, an intermediate/advanced module is also available at an additional cost, allowing attendees to develop a deeper understanding of the many tools and workflows possible, including elements such as clipping masks, compound paths, transparencies, advanced layering, exporting and many other useful insights.
For maximum training flexibility, it is possible to attend both courses consecutively for those that want a more intensive training programme, to attend just one of the 2 days to meet the needs of the individual or business, or to split attendance over time to allow for personal development in between sessions.
Joe Wigzell, Academy and Creative Centre Manager at Roland DG UK, said: “We’re pleased to have another chance to offer our end users our expert knowledge, and allow their businesses to improve as a result. As a company we know just how valuable graphic design is to the workflow of print production, and with the introduction of our Illustrator course we can give our customers that advantage.”
