Press release from the issuing company
Birmingham-based print, mail and postage solutions provider, Baker Goodchild has been successfully audited for ISO 27001 certification, which is the information security management standard that helps companies assess and prevent information security risks.
This latest standard accreditation for the direct mail fulfilment company follows their recent annual audits for the Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001, both of which it passed successfully, and are vital business quality standards, forming a key and integral part of Baker Goodchild’s day to day business management processes.
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised best practise framework for an information security management system. It belongs to the ISO 27000 series of standards, and helps companies identify the risks to important information, and put in place the appropriate controls to help reduce those risks.
Commenting on the auditing and accreditation of the security management information standard, Baker Goodchild Managing Director, Lorraine Burnell, stated, “By attaining yet another important high quality management standard for our business, such as ISO 27001, means we can now take on a wider variety of work that requires this level of security verification, and is a further endorsement of our business.”
Baker Goodchild currently provides print, mail and postage services for a variety of national and international clients, mailing both across the UK and overseas.
Being an independent specialist provider of bulk mail fulfilment and postal services, Baker Goodchild has invested in specialist bespoke mailing solutions and software, which enable them to be at the forefront of using new technologies within print for direct mail marketing campaigns.
Based in the heart of Birmingham, close to the city centre, Baker Goodchild is a privately-owned company with over 20 years extensive experience in providing print, mail and postage solutions, throughout the UK and Internationally.
