Breadth of business and industry experience augments expertise at mergers & acquisitions firm

PHILADELPHIA - New Direction Partners, the leading mergers & acquisitions resource for the printing and packaging industries, announces that Randolph W. Camp has joined its team of M&A experts as a Director. Camp is the former President & CEO of the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG), a position he held for four years prior to his retirement this spring.

Prior to joining PIAG, Camp was involved in family-owned businesses Walton Press, a web publication printing company, and Walton Media, a general commercial printer, where he acted as CEO from 1980 until the businesses were sold, in 1997 and 2010, respectively.

This brings a unique combination of knowledge and expertise that will serve our clients well as they look to the future of their businesses.”

In addition to his extensive activities within the printing industry, Randy has also been very active in his local community, including serving as a 20-year member of the board of directors of The National Bank of Walton County and past chairman; past president of the Walton County Chamber of Commerce; past chairman of the Monroe Water, Light & Gas Commission; 37-year member and past president of the Monroe Rotary Club; trustee and chairman of the Walton County Foundation, Inc.; member of the board of advisors of the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia; trustee and past president of the Northeast Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America, and recipient of the BSA Silver Beaver Award. And is a deacon in his church. All of this resulted in him being the recipient of the 2009 McGarity Citizenship Award.

“I am looking forward to this next chapter,” Camp said. “This is a good time for the printing industry, and there are many opportunities for firms that are forward-thinking and willing to change. I hope to be able to help some of those firms on their path forward in this new role.”

Camp holds degrees in business and journalism from the University of Georgia and is a member of the PIA Ben Franklin Society and the prestigious Epicomm Soderstrom Society.
