Qualvis Print and Packaging on growth curve with luxury packaging

Leicester in the East Midlands of England caused great excitement by unexpectedly winning the English Premier League in 2015/2016. At Drupa 2016 Qualvis Print and Packaging from Leicester laid the foundations for the championship when it comes to producing luxury packaging with an order for the world makeready champion in medium format in terms of makeready times and speed. The plinth-mounted seven-colour press with twin coaters expands Qualvis' finishing options and product portfolio. It is expected to be installed in February 2017. The company produces a wide range of extremely high-quality packaging for food, beverages, media, cosmetics, sweets, household goods and much more.

The technical features on the press include non-stop and logistics systems, DriveTronic SIS sidelay-free infeed, fully automated plate changers, QualiTronic ColorControl for inline colour control with extensive reporting software as well as press networking with pre-press and the company's MIS via LogoTronic Professional.

The management of Qualvis opted for the press due to KBA's leading technological role in packaging printing.
