PrintConcept Graphische Maschinen, Mark Andy's distributor for southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria confirmed a keen and steady interest in the two-unit display of a Performance Series P5 press on their stand at the recent expo in Düsseldorf.

Speaking for the company, Markus Pieper stated: "Although Drupa is not specifically a label printers show, it does cater for all types of printed packaging, as the presence here of most narrow web press manufacturers goes to prove.  With many label printers looking to diversify into new markets, it was an excellent opportunity to showcase Mark Andy technology, and we took a number of interesting enquiries from converters looking to invest."

The eleven-day trade expo, which will next be held in 2020, is the largest global gathering of print technology, and attracts around 250,000 visitors.  With the boundaries between different print technologies and the package print markets they serve continuing to blur, narrow web technology is becoming more relevant to Drupa than ever.
