Wilfried Kampe launches own business

As an independant entrepreneur Wilfried Kampe seeks business and investment opportunities in the area of industrial digital printing and related to Israeli technology start-ups

Krefeld/Germany, Over the past 25 years Wilfried held management and exec level positions in diverse industries whereas digital imaging & printing, digital color supply chain, and media workflow solutions were the predominant subjects he dealt with besides excursions into telecommunications and machine engineering & construction. He assumed functions in sales, marketing, and product management and acted as Managing Director of his own PR agency in the second half of the nineties and ultimately for the European subsidiary of Kornit Digital Ltd. Having served companies headquartered in Taiwan, the US, Germany, and Israel he acquired a truly cross cultural background and built a wide-span business network.

In his new venture Wilfried leverages his multifaceted experience acquired during his track record providing strategic advice, management consultancy, and business development expertise to companies facing the challenges of transforming their print production from analog to digital and having to remodel their business model as a result.

An equally important share of his new venture builds upon his solid network in the Israeli high-tech industry. His mission is to broker technology partnerships between Israeli start-up companies and established European companies interested in leveraging the power of one of the most dynamic high-tech development places in the world.

First two projects launched in May 2016

Wilfried has been appointed by Visscher-Caravelle, a family owned group of companies and leading supplier of car mats and textile products to the automotive industry headquartered in Genemuiden, the Netherlands. His mission is to remodel operations at Maltzahn Carpet Innovation GmbH, a subsidiary of the Dutch group located in Münster, Germany. The company operates the technically most advanced industrial carpet printing facility based on digital inkjet technology in Europe. The project aims at establishing MCI as a leading on-demand carpet print service for business clients and private end customers whilst continuing to strengthen its footprint in the hotel and commercial property segment.

With EPDS, a start-up focusing on the smart card industry, Wilfried has secured his first major project in the Israeli high-tech industry. EPDS are a team of smart card veterans led by Herzel Noach, formerly General Manager of LSI Logic Israel, a subsidiary of US based LSI Logic. EPDS have developped an ultra-secure smart card in standard credit card form factor facilitating ultra-secure and hassle free credit card payment over the internet and furthermore offering a building block for a true Digital Identity. The underlying technology is US Patent Pending. Wilfried assumes the role of Managing Director, Europe on behalf of this innovative start-up company.
