Press release from the issuing company
The tagline ‘The Evolution of Print’, encapsulating Manroland Sheetfed’s vision for meeting today’s and tomorrow’s print industry challenges, will be at the very centre of its 2016 drupa showcase.
At the pre-event press conference on May 30, CEO of manroland sheetfed GmbH Mr. Rafael Penuela, speaking in detail about the company’s philosophy, progress and strategic outlook as well as the technological highlights of its exhibits, underlined the need to constantly adapt:
“Since Langley’s takeover in 2012, Manroland Sheetfed has shown positive results year by year. This is not about the product, but the team itself – the way of thinking, and the way of adapting to changes. We are in another way of doing business compared to the past, lean but more dynamic and adapting to changes very quickly.”
A solid financial position is enabling Manroland Sheetfed to invest heavily in intensive research and development as well as in measures to boost productivity and training.
At drupa 2016, Manroland Sheetfed is exhibiting a 12-unit ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION equipped with all the options needed for the specific demands of the packaging industry. Highlights include:
Discussing Manroland Sheetfed’s ever-developing service portfolio with integrated tools like ProSer360° Performance, Mr. Penuela said:
“Products like the ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION are helping to deliver ever greater production stability and reduced cost of ownership, maximising the business potential for our customers. The response from the market has truly exceeded our expectations.
“Our success with ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION has led us to include its features to our other models as well, the Simultaneous Plate Loading System for example, which is now available on the ROLAND 900 series.”
The Manroland Sheetfed team will be on hand to answer questions from visitors at its exhibit at Hall 14, Stand C21 during drupa 2016.
