Press release from the issuing company

West Chester, OH, May 30, 2002 -- Bestcolor USA, the North American subsidiary of Best GmbH, has announced support of the new EPSON Stylus Pro 7600 and 9600 printers in the Best line of color proofing RIPs. These new printers are supported by Best Screenproof and Best Colorproof two of the leading software RIPs for digital inkjet proofing. In announcing support of the new EPSON printers, Mark Geeves, Bestcolor USA president, commented: “Commercial printers and prepress personnel today require proofing that is consistent and will simulate exactly the final printed product. The new EPSON UltraChrome ink system and variable droplet technology provide consistency. Best printer drivers and color management technology ensure a color accurate proof. Advancements by EPSON and Best can be expected to further the acceptance of inkjet proofs as final proofs for a majority of commercial printers. Best Certified Dealers offer a system that replaces the expensive, traditional proofing systems, and provide a very quick return on investment.” Drivers for the EPSON Stylus Pro 7600 and 9600 printers will be available for free download from the Bestcolor website, www.bestcolor.com and will be included in Best Colorproof and Best Screenproof with version 4.6.1.
