Printers, Mailers, Marketing Services Providers, Consultants, and Vendor Representatives on the Program for the May 16-18 Event in Savannah, Georgia
Alexandria, Va. - Panelists and presenters representing printers, mailers, marketing services providers, consultants, and industry vendors and suppliers will contribute their insights and ideas to seminars and general sessions at the Epicomm Experience, the 2016 Annual Meeting of Epicomm, the Association for Leaders in Print, Mail, Fulfillment, and Marketing Services. The event will take place May 16-18, at the Hyatt Regency Savannah in Savannah, Ga.
“In addition to our keynote speakers, we will have more than 20 industry experts participating in presentations and panels on topics ranging from solving the sales crisis and hiring top sales talent to disrupting your market and discovering opportunities for your company,” says Epicomm President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Garner.
“Our Annual Conference program is packed with informative sessions on what our members have identified as the most pressing issues and concerns facing today’s graphic communications industry executives,” he continues, “and the participation of so many frontline industry leaders guarantees that attendees will gain real-world perspectives and actionable strategies and tactics they can implement in their companies as soon as they get home.”
On Tuesday, May 17, following a keynote address, “Unleash Your Inner Tyrant!” by Jeff Havens of The Jeff Havens Company, The Epicomm Experience will feature a general session on Service Offerings Evolution facilitated by Epicomm’s Gary Pawlaczyk and featuring panelists Giri Gondi of Tecra, Seth Kane of OneVision, and Bill Penders of SPI Global. A presentation by John Cassidy of Duplicates INK, “Cross the Line and Disrupt Your Market,” will close out the morning’s program.
That afternoon, two general sessions will be held on the topic of “Solving the Sales Crisis.” The first will focus on finding the “right” people to change your business—how to identify, attract, recruit and hire top talent for sales developers and key managers in a multi-generational workforce; the second will look at working with existing sales forces.
Tom Bush of Successful Business Strategies will facilitate the first session with scheduled panelists Mike Kellogg of Century Direct and Wes Powell of TMR. Epicomm’s Bill Farquharson will facilitate the second session, with scheduled panelists Ken Orr of pii, Jim Schultz of Great Lakes Integrated, and Warren Werbitt of Pazazz.
The Wednesday, May 18, program opens with a general session, “Getting it Right: Where the Profitable Opportunities are for My Company,” presented by Epicomm’s Andrew D. Paparozzi and featuring scheduled panelists Summer Gould of Eye/Comm; Andy Miller of PRINTSource, and Warren Werbitt.
The morning’s breakout sessions include “Positive Employee Relations from a Lawyer’s Perspective,” featuring Chris Antone of Jackson-Lewis, and “Acquisitions, Milestones, and Missteps,” a panel facilitated by Epicomm’s Mike Philie with scheduled participants Tim Boucher of B Squared, Gary Cayce of Mount Royal Printing, and John Falconetti of Drummond Press.
Wednesday afternoon features the association’s annual meeting and town hall luncheon, including a presentation on “20 Marketing Innovations & Ideas in 30 Minutes” with John Foley, Jr. of Grow Socially. A general session on “How to Take Ownership of Leadership” with Bryan Dodge of Dodge Development, Inc., follows the luncheon. The conference program wraps up with a “Tips to Go!” session that brings attendees together with session facilitators and presenters to review key takeaways, identify top priorities, outline next steps, and answer questions raised during the event.
