Press release from the issuing company
With five new machines on display at Sign & Digital 2016, its little wonder that the Roland DG UK stand stole the show. Thanks to a combination of exciting new technology, innovative application ideas and informative seminars, a record number of delegates took the time to visit the central stand.
With Roland DG’s five new machines being the focus of the stand this year, visitors had the chance to experience the next generation of print technology in person, covering a wide variety of markets. With the SOLJET EJ-640 and TrueVis VG Series offering the future of print and print & cut, the VersaUV LEF-300 and VersaUV LEJ-640FT covering the UV market for both promotional and wide format, and the Texart XT-640 offering high quality dye-sublimation transfer printing to the textile market, there was something for everyone.
Alongside Roland DG’s expertise across the print industry, attendees were drawn in by this year’s Scratch & Win prize draw, offering visitors the chance to win a wide variety exiting items; from caps and mugs through to the latest ECO-SOL MAX 3 inks and even the chance to win one of Roland DG’s latest machines; the SOLJET EJ-640 printer or TrueVIS VG-640 printer/cutter. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn by the show organisers and announced within one month of the show.
Darren Penny, Head of Sales at Roland DG (UK) Ltd, says: “Sign & Digital UK 2016 has been our most successful show to date, with a fantastic buzz around the stand for the whole three days – no doubt thanks to the exciting array of new technology on display. The response to our Scratch & Win competition was also overwhelming, with an unprecedented amount of entries.”
As well as a focus on new technology, Roland DG’s stand was also populated with several Roland Users; partners of Roland DG offering a unique perspective into what the company can offer customers, from the quality of the machines through to the excellence of the RolandCare services provided with RolandCare warranties. Included in the group were Pete Colman of Classic Print, Joe McNamara from the Renault Sport F1 team and James Cameron of Mission Motorsport, each offering a diverse opinion on why visitors should choose Roland DG.
Alongside one-to-one demonstrations and advice on the stand, Rob Goleniowski, Sales Support Manager, held popular open demonstrations on the TrueVIS VG-640 once a day throughout the show, giving attendees an overview of the machine’s capabilities and exceptional print quality. Mike Kryvoblocki, RolandCare Supervisor and Technical Trainer, also ran well-received daily seminars providing existing machine owners with tips and tricks on how to maintain their eco-solvent wide format machines for longevity and maximum quality print.
Darren Penny continues: “It’s just as important to Roland DG to support our current users as it is to introduce new professionals to our products and services – and with the latest and greatest kit on display plus our RolandCare and Roland DG Academy staff on hand to explain the post-purchase support we provide, we have shown visitors the additional benefits of purchasing a Roland DG product.”
