Label and Package Printing Day to visit Toronto

The organizers of Labelexpo America will be hosting a dedicated Label & Package Printing Day for the Canadian print market on 10 May in Toronto. The free networking event will feature industry experts from Labelexpo and several of its industry partners and will touch upon a range of topics to do with this year’s show and the wider label and package printing industry.

Presentations will include a question and answer session with a panel of local converters including Charlie Maclean of ASL Print FX, as well as a technical discussion of the technology trends which will be highlighted at this year’s Labelexpo Americas lead by Andy Thomas group editor of Labels & Labeling magazine. In addition, Mark Tibbetts, president of the TLMI will give an overview of the trade association’s activities and the benefits it offers its converter members in the North American narrow web industry. Tasha Ventimiglia of Labelexpo Americas will share details of what visitors can expect to see at this year’s show and Label & Labeling’s North America editor, Chelsea McDougall, will be looking at regional and worldwide trends in the marketplace.

First held in 1989, Labelexpo Americas is the largest dedicated label and package printing tradeshow serving the North and South American markets and features over 400 exhibitors. It will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Chicago between 13-15 September. 

The day-long seminar will be held at the International Plaza Hotel in Toronto between 10.30-5.00 on Tuesday 10 May 2016. Places will be limited and attendees can register by emailing [email protected].
