Weymouth, MA – Jeff Hayes, Managing Director of InfoTrends will be the Master of Ceremonies at this year’s Printing Industries of New England (PINE) Awards of Excellence during the annual Gala on April 13, 2016 at the Newton Marriott, in Newton, MA. The Gala kicks off at 5 p.m. with a two-hour cocktail reception with vendor exhibits and a display of award winners. 

Dinner will be served at 7 pm after which PINE's highest honor, the Industry Influencer Award, will be presented to Jim Conway, Executive Vice President of RR Donnelley Book Platform. The Influencer Award, sponsored by Heidelberg since 2003, honors the contributions of an individual whose vision and energy have impacted our industry in a profound and indelible way. It recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit and foresight to create new business models, develop market-shifting technologies, and improve the industry in a permanent and sustained manner. Immediately following, winners of PINE's Pinnacle and Awards of Excellence competition will be announced. New this year will be the announcement of the student division award winners.

Pinnacle awards are presented to the winners in over 50 categories. In addition the highly anticipated Best of Show winner will be presented at the end of the evening. Gala attendees also get to vote for their favorite piece to select the People's Choice Award during the two-hour Supplier networking reception that precedes the 7 p.m. banquet.
