ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Neenah Paper is starting 2009 with the launch of new heat transfer papers for desktop digital printing of images for apparel made of poly, blends and other synthetic fibers.  JET-PRO for Active Wear Heat Transfer Paper was developed for light fabrics with high levels of synthetic fiber.

JET-PRO for Active Wear Heat Transfer Papers are ideal for the adult and children's athletic wear market.  The papers are ink jet printable and provide excellent color on poly, blends and other synthetic fibers.  They do not crack or form a film.  They have excellent stretch and wear and long lasting wash fastness.  Transfers for synthetic fibers have typically required a high initial investment for equipment and inks.  This new product provides the same great color and long wear using standard desk top equipment.

Neenah's new heat transfer papers also boast an impressive environmental record.  The base substrate is CLASSIC CREST Paper.  This premium bond base paper is FSC-certified (SW-COC-000885), Green e-certified (made with renewable energy) and manufactured Carbon Neutral, as defined by the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).  Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification ensures that the standards and guidelines of certification are met from the forest to the finished product.

JET-PRO for Active Wear as well as the other heat transfer papers from Neenah Paper  meet all of the most stringent requirements for lead and phthalates in children's products as outlined in the Consumer Product Safety Act of 2008 (CPSIA).  This Act, which is a major overhaul of the consumer product regulation and enforcement, requires mandatory testing and certification for specific products.  Neenah Paper will provide its customers with the necessary compliance documents for all products that are affected by these new changes.
