U.S. director of KBA print technology discusses LED-UV development with commercial, packaging, and specialty converters and printers in March
KBA North America is pleased to announce that Chris Travis, director of technology, will be speaking at the Print UV 2016 conference. Now in its ninth year, Print UV 2016 will take place at the Encore by Wynn Resort in Las Vegas from March 16-18. KBA is a platinum sponsor and has been a key supporter of this important event since its inception nine years ago.
Chris Travis will be serving dual roles as he assists the Print UV staff with its popular WOW Factor panels throughout the day on Thursday March 16th and he will be discussing new LED-UV technology in the market including KBA’s new VariDry LED-UV. LED-UV curing is an exciting low-energy drying technology that is one of the hottest topics among commercial and packaging printers from small to large format. KBA’s research and development team in Germany, along with its ink partners, have successfully integrated this instant cure-to-print technology as a modular, interchangeable LED-UV curing platform into its press line and is able to offer highly knowledgeable assistance to its current and prospective customers to immediately capitalize on LED-UV’s many advantages and benefits.
Catering to commercial, packaging, and specialty converters and printers, Print UV is the first industry event focused exclusively on the UV printing market. During the three days in March, a full agenda of exciting topics and knowledgeable speakers has been assembled to encourage, promote, and sustain the growth of UV printing while also providing unparalleled networking opportunities with leading UV industry suppliers and some of the most elite printers in North America. Conference sessions will touch upon new ideas and growth opportunities in the UV market, discover new UV core processes, and present case studies from successful UV print initiatives from around the world.
