Company strengthens resources, adds domestic and international sales leadership
SPARKS, Maryland - SUN Automation Group®, a leading global provider of innovative equipment to the corrugated industry, is pleased to announce three personnel changes to enhance its sales force and further develop its growing portfolio of unique product offerings around the world.
“These three personnel changes are reflective of our objective to realign our sales team to be a more technical, customer-centric organization,” said Ron Diedeman, President of SUN.
Greg Jones has accepted a promotion to become the Director of Sales and Marketing, in which he will continue his strong leadership in SUN Automation’s domestic sales division and will become the new head of the company’s international sales operation.
“We recognize Greg’s high ethical and moral standards, as well as leadership and ability to cultivate customer relationships in a team environment,” Diedeman said. “Since he joined our company in 2012, his key contributions across SUN’s operations have built and reinforced lasting partnerships with our customers.”
Jones brings over 25 years of sales experience to his new position.
David President also joins SUN Automation’s sales force as the Central Region Territory Manager. Having served as a field service technician with the company since 2008, he is known for his consistent and excellent ability to interact with the plant production and maintenance teams.
“With his technical knowledge and personal skills, we are confident David will be a great asset to our company and more importantly to our end user,” Jones said.
In addition, SUN Automation added a position to better serve its customers and introduces Paul Flitcraft as its Western Region Territory Manager. Flitcraft’s eight years of industry management experience includes seven years with Smurfit-Stone/Rock-Tenn. He worked as maintenance manager for the West Coast Rock-Tenn plant in Florida and Regional Reliability Manager for Rock-Tenn’s west-coast plants.
“Paul’s knowledge of the territory and more specifically the industry make him a great asset to SUN and our customers,” said Jones. “These announcements are a sampling of our commitment to our customers to not only deliver superior products but also the best teams to support them.”
