Mumbai, India - Mumbai-based Shree Arun Packaging is primarily a folding box manufacturer providing carton, sleeves, inserts and wrappers to consumer product companies. A user of Esko software, Shree Arun recently installed a Kongsberg V20 cutting and creasing table with FLEXIHead for producing packaging prototypes and samples at one of its plants. Capex is always a constraint but so is the importance of having the right set of tools to quickly and efficiently compete in the carton market. “We were thinking of getting a table for quite some time but were not able to work out the costs until now. We realized that a sampling table was the missing link in our state-of-the-art chain of equipment. We looked at other options as well and after doing a thorough research on sample tables ultimately opted for the Kongsberg. Our customers also know that Kongsberg means quality,” says Mr.Hemant Bhotica, Director, Shree Arun Packaging.

Talking about the performance of the Kongsberg V20 table, Bhotica says it is not a very complicated machine to handle. “Once the workforce is trained, it is easy to run…We started a corrugation unit just three months back so we don’t have a lot of sampling to do in that department, but I am sure corrugated sampling too would not be a problem,” he adds.
