Lichfield, UK - HEXIS UK Ltd., the exclusive UK distributor of HEXIS S.A.’s full range of films and media for professional signage, vehicle marking, visual communication and surface protection applications, has announced the immediate availability of a high gloss premium digital printing PVC, branded V200WG1. This premium opaque European-grade 100% polymeric vinyl is very conformable and ideal for fleet graphics. 

The 70µm V200WG1 film is suitable for standard solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV inkjet printing technologies and its industrial-grade solvent acrylic adhesive sticks to a wide variety of surfaces – including glass, steel, aluminium, PVC, acrylic, melamine and more. HEXIS V200WG1 is backed with a premium quality, moisture-stable digital printing liner, which stays flat during the entire printing and conversion process. The silicone layer allows easy release of the printed vinyl when the final application to the substrate is made.

Suitable for both cut and print – as well as print and cut applications – V200WG1 can be applied to both flat and slightly curved surfaces, and can be wet or dry applied. It is able to resist low and high temperatures, and high humidity conditions. 

Courtesy of its premium face film quality, V200WG1 is fast drying and can be handled almost as soon as it is out of the printer. The combination of face film and HEXIS adhesive ensures a low shrinkage rate, and compatible HEXIS V750 series laminate films – in both gloss and matt finishes – are available to enhance the durability of the output.

Unprinted V200WG1 film has long-term outdoor durability of up to 8 years under central European climate standards (vertical outdoor exposure). The product is guaranteed for 5 years outdoors under the same conditions when printed and laminated.
